The Mountains.
Behind the French Riviera with the famous places like Nice, Monaco and Cannes there are the first mountain ranges of the Alpes.Just behind Monaco you have the first rocks over the city who are at 300m altitude and not 1 km from the sea.At 40km of the sea the highest summit is Mt Argentera with an Altitude of 3297m.
The warm summer and cold winter there is perfect for all mountain activities. Best limestone cliffs for sport climbing or multi-pitch. A lot of very good snow this last years (thanks to sea humidity) procure best conditions for skiing with a view over the sea.
